of some sort to take action on it. Now we have to keep their attention – and that’s all scientific. How you lay out your email matters. English readers follow what is called the “F Pattern” – our eyes automatically start in the upper left, read across to the right, then go down and across again. We are naturally attracted to faces – where is that face looking? Make sure it’s looking at what you want them to read! Consider using arrows also as directional cues to tell your reader what you want them to focus on.
