Marketing Tip of the Week – Apply IT!

michaelgerbere-mythReaders are leaders – but you must apply what you learn! One of my favorite books is The E-Myth by Michael Gerber. This week I’m offering a few favorite quotes that have made a huge difference for me:

“The Fatal Assumption: if you understand the technical work of a business, you understand a business that does that technical work….it just isn’t true. In fact, it’s the root cause of most small business failures.”

“An effective Prototype is a business that finds and keeps customers – profitably – better than any other.”

“…unless your customer gets everything he wants every single time, he’ll go someplace else to get it!”

“People buy feelings… How your business anticipates those feelings and satisfies them is your product.”

“The job of the owner… is to prepare yourself and your business for growth…To educate yourself sufficiently so that, as your business grows, the business’s foundation and structure can carry the additional weight.”

I would love feedback on how this column has inspired you: Charlene@seamlesscoach.com
